Mr. Fabella’s Math 7 Class

Hello Team Fabella! This is a place for some Math 7 resources including videos that I might have assigned in Google Classroom. Most sections referenced here are from the California Glencoe Math, Course 2, 2015 textbook. I’ll be adding to this page as more videos are released.

This is a supplemental video to my functions lesson. Functions can only have one output for each input. What happens when you break that rule in a video game?

This video shows what prisms and pyramids are and how to find their volumes.

This is the second video I've done on finding the area of composite figure and includes slightly more complex figures including circles and semicircles.

This video discusses the parts of a circle, how the irrational number Pi is derived, and how that helps us to find the equation to the circumference of a circle.

This video is an introduction to naming angles, classifying angles, and vertical angles. For my Math 7 students, this is from Chapter 7, Lesson 1 in the Glencoe Math, Course 2 textbook.

This video covers solving two-step equations. For my Math 7 students, this covers Chapter 6, Lesson 4 out of the California Glencoe Math, Course 2 textbook.

This video shows how to find the area of a circle and semicircle given the radius or diameter. It also shows how the formula for the area of a circle is derived.

This video explains complementary and supplementary angles. For my Math 7 students, this is from Chapter 7, Lesson 2 in the Glencoe Math, Course 2 textbook.

This video explains naming and classifying triangles as well as the 180 degree rule.. For my Math 7 students, this is from Chapter 7, Lesson 3 in the Glencoe...

This video explains scale drawings, scale models, scale factor, and scale (which is actually different from those previous 3!).
